Multiple-crash closes NB I-15 near Carmel Mountain Rd.

SABRE SPRINGS (CNS) – Freeway traffic was backed up, and police were on the scene clearing lanes, following a multiple-vehicle crash Thursday on Interstate 15, a CHP dispatcher said.

The incident occurred about 10:25 a.m. on northbound Interstate 15 approaching Carmel Mountain Road.

“There was a three-vehicle crash and all the lanes were closed briefly as debris was cleared,” the CHP dispatcher said.

The dispatcher said an ambulance was called to the scene.
