National City Mile of Cars South Bay GOTW: Otay Ranch Mustangs 26, Lincoln Hornets 6

The Week 6 South Bay Game of the Week features Otay Ranch hosting Lincoln.  Mustang quarterback Christian Zamudio, a transfer from Mission Bay, has only played in only three games. This could be a factor in why the Mustangs are 1-4. His performance this night, however, is one reason the Mustangs are now 2-4.
In the first quarter Mustang running back Fenuki Kusvska runs it in to give Otay Ranch the lead. Minutes later quarterback Zamudio throws a touchdown pass to Devin Lloyd to make it 14-0 Mustangs.
Lloyd, who is six feet five inches tall and weighs 220 pounds, is a force to be reckoned with on both sides of the ball. He leads the Mustangs in receiving yards as well as solo tackles as a defensive back.  He’s also the punter.
And speaking of Lloyd, in the third quarter he rakes in his second touchdown pass of the night courtesy of a nicely thrown pass from Quarterback Zamudio.
In the fourth quarter Mustangs go up 26-0 when Gus Espiritu runs it in from twelve yards out.
With less than two minutes to go
Asante Hertzog throws a touchdown pass to  Dayshon Thomas which prevents the Hornets from being shut out leaving the final score at 26-6.
A shoutout has to be given to the Otay defense which held the Hornets to only six rushing yards!
Lincoln’s Head Coach, Coach Dunn, has a noteworthy backround. He played in the NFL for eight years including a stop with the Oakland Raiders.
Look forward to seeing you at 10:30 next Friday night…a reminder that the PPR has now been expanded to ninety minutes!
