Networking at its best

Pay it forward is a popular phrase and is very relevant to the job search process. We know that 50 percent of jobs are filled through networking.  Someone is made aware of a job opening or recommended for the job by someone else.

While you are immersed in your job search process keep your eyes and ears open for jobs that other people you know, or maybe don’t even know, might be interested in. It’s as easy as contacting someone you have met and telling them about an accounting position you have uncovered while you were searching for a marketing position.

You certainly want others to be on the out look for you so be sure to do the same for them.

The 90 positions we are talking about today may not be right for you but stop and think who you might email right now to make them aware of these jobs..and encourage them to share the openings with their contact base.
