New drug to treat people with OCD being tested in San Diego

SAN DIEGO (KUSI)- Obsessive compulsive disorder Or OCD affects millions of people in the U.S. According to the National Institutes of Health,  1 in 40 adults struggles with the condition and one in 100 children.

A new drug is being tested here in San Diego county to treat people with the condition.

Here to tell us more is Dr. Charmaine Semeniuk, a neurologist and psychiatrist at Synergy Research Center’s clinics in Lemon Grove and Corey Bosvay, a patient whose battled obsessive compulsive disorder for years.
