New educational programs to combat human trafficking of middle schoolers

SAN DIEGO (KUSI)- San Diego is one of the top three areas in the state for human trafficking and among the top 13 in the would. The underground sex industry is a $10 billion industry and the number one target is young girls under the age of 16.

Now school districts across the county are implementing educational programs to combat this alarming trend and the group they are focusing on is middle schoolers.
