New exhibit to open at San Diego Air and Space Museum
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The San Diego Air and Space Museum is bringing a new exhibit featuring spacecrafts, space suits, artifacts and memorabilia together all in one place for the first time.
The exhibit plans to tell the story of humankind’s exploration of space and how the resulting technological advances benefit people all over the planet every day.
Highlights include selfie stations with space suits on the Moon and Mars, interactive stations on future opportunities to be part of the space program, and a Mercury capsule mock up guests can climb into.
The museum will be debuting it to VIPs during our Apollo 9 50th Anniversary Celebration next on March 13th.
