New poll shows tightening races in California Governor and Senate elections

A new poll from the Independent Voter Network shows “dramatic moves in the Governor and Senate races in California.” reports California’s two biggest statewide races are tightening. “The leads for front-runners Gavin Newsom and Dianne Feinstein are now single digits.”

Republican Gubernatorial candidate John Cox was in the KUSI studio Thursday where he referenced this poll that has him just 5 points back of his Democrat opponent Gavin Newsom. You can watch Cox’s full interview by clicking here.

The poll has Newsom leading Cox 44% to 39%, with 17% of the poll’s participants undecided.

Regarding the Senate race, IVN has Dianne Feinstein leading Kevin de León by just 8 points, 37 to 29 percent.But, 34% of respondent said they are still undecided in that race.
