New poll shows tightening races in California Governor and Senate elections

A new poll from the Independent Voter Network shows “dramatic moves in the Governor and Senate races in California.”

IVN.us reports California’s two biggest statewide races are tightening. “The leads for front-runners Gavin Newsom and Dianne Feinstein are now single digits.”

Republican Gubernatorial candidate John Cox was in the KUSI studio Thursday where he referenced this poll that has him just 5 points back of his Democrat opponent Gavin Newsom. You can watch Cox’s full interview by clicking here.

The poll has Newsom leading Cox 44% to 39%, with 17% of the poll’s participants undecided.

Regarding the Senate race, IVN has Dianne Feinstein leading Kevin de León by just 8 points, 37 to 29 percent.But, 34% of respondent said they are still undecided in that race.
