New study links diabetes to increased risk of arthritis and osteoporosis

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A study that draws on data from more than 100,000 people finds a link between diabetes and an increased risk of osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Dr. Steven Ruderman with the XiMed Medical Group visited the studio on Tuesday to explain the study.
