Newsom calls on DOJ to consider ‘kidnapping’ charges against DeSantis & Abbott

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Gov. Newsom has called for an investigation into the actions of Govs. Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbot for flying just over 50 migrants to the affluent island of Martha’s Vineyard, and some to VP Kamala Harris’ abode in DC, this last week. Immigration Attorney Esther Valdes Clayton calls this “outrageous”, and many agree.

Friday Sept. 9, buses arrived to pick up the 50 illegal immigrants and begin their transportation process off the exclusive island for the wealthy. The wealthy liberal residents sent the migrants away within 48 hours of their arrival.

Later Friday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis directly called out Gavin Newsom for suggesting the DOJ to investigate him for kidnapping and trafficking. DeSantis said, “all I can say is I think his hair gel is interfering with his brain function.” See below.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Texas Governor Greg Abbott have taken the illegal immigration problem into their own hands.

The arrival of the migrants has caused uproar by residents and leaders of the areas, who ironically say they are incapable of housing and sheltering the influx of migrants. Obviously, these same people have advocated for open borders since the policy does not affect their personal lives, until now.

Amid the uproar, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced he formally requested the Department of Justice to investigate what he calls “inhumane efforts” by these governors. Newsom tweeted his letter which reads, “I urge US DOJ to investigate whether the alleged fraudulent inducement would support charges of kidnapping under relevant state laws, which could serve as a predicate offense for charges under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization (RICO) provisions of the Organized Crime Control Act.”

DeSantis responded to the outrage saying these same people “all of those people in DC and New York beating their chests when Trump was president were so proud to be sanctuary jurisdictions, saying how bad it was to have a secure border. The minute, even a small fraction of what those border towns deal with everyday was brought to their front door, they all of the sudden go berserk.”

Videos of the migrants arrival are quickly going viral, some of them are below.
