No one found in Del Mar cliff collapse
DEL MAR (KUSI) — A section of the bluffs in Del Mar collapsed onto the beach Wednesday morning leaving behind a pile of rubble, but no bodies were found, a fire dispatcher said.
Witness at first thought people may have been caught under the collapse, but no one was found, firefighters said. Witnesses were interviewed and dogs searched the area just in case and "didn’t hit on anything," the dispatcher said.
The bluff collapse was reported shortly after 8:15 a.m. at the foot of 10th Street, according to Lifeguards.
