North Park: Take Back the Night rally

Five brutal assaults in the past few months have made the North Park neighborhood a frightening place. On Friday night, residents of the North Park community rallied to take back the night and create awareness. 

About 100 people and supporters joined the Take Back the Night Movement to show community support. As the march and rally unfolded, more and more people joined.

The Take Back the Night movement is led by women, and usually march on college campuses, but on Friday night they brought their movement to North Park. 

The march visited each of the five spots where victims were assaulted.

There still has been no arrests in the investigation, but law enforcement has increased surveillance in the area.
