Oceanside man hit in the head with baseball bat

OCEANSIDE – Around 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday a 19 year-old male was hit in the head with a baseball bat after an altercation with other males.

The 19-year-old was airlifted to a hospital for serious injuries but they are considered to be non-life threatening.

Two suspects, a 16 year-old and 19 year-old, are in custody according to authorities.

The incident which happened on 400 Brooks Street in Oceanside is believed to be non-gang related.
