Oceanside’s Got Talent winner Lizzie Waters selected to compete on America’s Got Talent

You’ve heard of America’s Got Talent–now get ready for Oceanside’s Got Talent!

17 year-old winner Lizzie Waters played a little of her original music for us on Sunday morning before she continues on to compete in America’s Got Talent

Almost 80 Oceanside residents competed at Mission Marketplace’s Oceanside’s Got Talent Contest this year. Cynthia Gonzalez, Senior Marketing Director for NewMark Merrill Companies’ San Diego Division which includes Mission Marketplace, created the contest to showcase talented people in Oceanside.

On August 30, 17-year-old Lizzie Waters was selected by judges as the contest winner to get front of line audition ticket for next season’s America’s Got Talent and 2 tickets to attend a current season show. Lizzie, who writes her own songs, plays the guitar, and sings begins college this fall at UC Santa Barbara.
