Officers respond to active shooting incident at the Mall of America

BLOOMINGTON, MINNESOTA  (KUSI) – KUSI is following an active shooter situation coming from Bloomington, Minnesota.

Law enforcement responded to reports of gunshots at the Mall of America.

The shots rang out at around 4:30 near a Nike store prompting officials to place the mall on lockdown.

They asked guests to remain in the closest secure location until further notice.
