SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A woman who was fatally struck by a pickup truck while attempting to cross the street in front of Bobier Elementary School in Vista was publicly identified Monday.

Nancy Saravia, 33, of Vista was hit by the 1997 Ford Ranger, which was pulling a trailer, while attempting to dash across East Bobier Drive near North Santa Fe Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. Friday, according to the county sheriff’s department and the medical examiner’s office.
