One dead after Webster fight ends in stabbing
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A fight that erupted among a group of men in a Webster-area neighborhood early Thursday escalated into a stabbing that left one of them dead.
The fracas in the 2300 block of Ridge View Drive broke out about 11 p.m. Wednesday, according to San Diego police.
Patrol officers arrived to find an an unconscious 23-year-old man who had suffered at least one stab wound to the chest, Lt. Paul Rorrison said.
Medics took the victim to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was withheld pending family notification.
Investigators had no descriptions of the other men who were involved in the fight as of late this morning, Rorrison said.
