One dead in multi-vehicle crash on I-8
EL CAJON (CNS) – A person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 8 in El Cajon Thursday night.
The collision occurred on the freeway’s westbound lanes near El Cajon Boulevard around 9:20 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
U-T San Diego quoted a Heartland Fire dispatcher as saying the victim was struck after getting out of one of the crashed vehicles.
Three other people were hospitalized, the website reported.
