One hospitalized after shooting near Dave and Buster’s

MISSION VALLEY (KUSI) — One person was wounded Sunday evening in a shooting near the Dave and Buster’s in Mission Valley.

The shooting occurred just after 8:30 p.m. near the Dave and Buster’s arcade and restaurant in the 2600 block Camino Del Rio North in Mission Valley, according to San Diego Police Officer John Buttle.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound, police said. Their condition is not known at this time.

The suspects were a man and woman and the victim was a 26-year-old man, Buttle said.

“They got into an argument,” he said. “The suspects ran to Camino del Rio North, turned around and shot at the victim.”

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation, Buttle said.

The shooting was near Dave and Busters but the entertainment business was not involved in any way, Buttle said.

This is a developing story, we will update as more details become available.
