‘One San Diego’ hosts fourth annual Neighborhood Experience

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — More than 1,000 community members and leaders representing neighborhoods from across San Diego came together Tuesday night to celebrate “One San Diego’s” Fourth Annual Neighborhood Experience.

The annual celebration showcases San Diego’s unique cultural, artistic, and culinary diversity through various performances and tastings.

Mayor Kevin Faulconer and First Lady Katherine Stuart helped to launch the nonprofit “One San Diego” to promote equal access to economic prosperity, safe and vibrant communities, and an enhanced quality of life.

KUSI’s Mark Mathis was LIVE from the event and had the opportunity to speak with Chief David Nisleit, the San Diego Police Department’s newly appointed Chief of Police about the importance of creating a strong community relationship.
