Original “Donut Dollies” feature in G-I Film Festival documentary

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The G-I Film Festival exclusively shares military-themed films, and one of the remarkable stories being told is a Vietnam story that has gone mainly unheard.

At the height of the war, two women decided to fly into the war zone with a mission to cheer up the G-I’s in Vietnam — but they had no idea what they were getting into.

One of the extraordinary women, Dorset Anderson visited the studio today with her son Norm Anderson, who also directed the film she inspired.
