Otay Mesa West crash leaves two with injuries

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A two-car collision in Otay Mesa West left two people with serious injuries Thursday night.

A stolen Toyota Camry collided with a Ford Freestyle just after 7:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of Palm Avenue, according to authorities. The Camry had only one occupant in the car, while the Freestyle had one additional passenger.

The 39-year-old driver of the stolen Camry suffered a broken wrist and pelvis, while the passenger of the Ford Freestyle, a 24-year-old man, suffered a broken leg and several lacerations to his face.
