Preview

The Otay Ranch Mustangs (2-1) take on the St. Augustine Saints (3-0) in a non-league game at Mesa College on Friday night at 7.

Both these have taken more wins than losses thus far, with the Saints being undefeated on the season.

Starting with the visiting Mustangs, senior quarter back Jonte “Puka” Stewart has already threw for over 300 yards on the season, looking to get to 400 after this Friday.

Not only can Stewart throw for yardage, he can run, as well, running for 268 yards this season, almost catching up to running back Noah Isley, who has also ran for 293 yards on the season.

The Saints are coming into this week undefeated with the motivation to keep that winning streak.

They have a target on their back with all future teams that they go against.

Not only can their quarterback produce yardage, throwing for over 500 yards so far, but there running back, Byron Cardwell and receiver Michael Ambagtsheer, can be threats, as well.

The Saints defense have allowed just 10 points score on them so far this season. Overall, St. Augustine brings all aspects to the field every game they play.
