OVER THE EDGE | Kids Included Together Fundraiser Who they are/What they're doing This summer, Kids Included Together will be hosting a once-in-a-lifetime fundraising event at the spectacular Manchester Grand Hyatt, the west coast's tallest waterfront building. Participants will have the opportunity to raise money to benefit children with disabilities AND repel off of the 33rd floor of the Hyatt! No prior climbing experience necessary. Training provided on-site. Kids Included Together (KIT) specializes in providing best practices training for community–based organizations committed to including children with and without disabilities into their recreational, child development and youth development programs. WHEN: Friday, August 17, 2012 – Media & VIP day Saturday, August 18, 2012 – Main Event Day Rappelling: 9am-5pm Landing Party Area: 9am-5pm VIP Reception: TBD

How to get involved To secure a rope, each participant needs to a raise a minimum of $1,000 for the opportunity to go OVER THE EDGE! The process is extremely easy, simply click the “Create Your Fundraising Page” button at the top right of the following link: http://www.stayclassy.org/san-diego/events/over-edge-for-kit-2012/e8434 and follow the steps provided. Once you've hit your goal and raised $1,000 you're set! But don't have to stop there, all proceeds go to Kids Included Together, so please continue to keep raising money any way you can! Requirements -Minimum age: 14 – minors must be accompanied by a parent (parent not required to rappel) -Must be under 300 lbs. -Must be reasonably healthy -$1000 minimum donation – must be received by August 1st -Teams may be created – Refer to Krista
