Padres honor the armed forces at Sunday’s game

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The Padres are giving a big salute to the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard at Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Petco Park.   

The pregame ceremony included 100 Air Force and Air National Guard representatives from March Air Reserve Base, the Air National Guard and Civil Air Patrol lining the baselines. Nine members of the Air Force and Air National Guard will took the field with the Padres starting lineup.   

Medical Service Corps Lt. Jeffrey Collins performed the national anthem.
