Pandemic Pizza opens in Downtown San Diego and gives back to the local community

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Two San Diego chefs were furloughed in mid-march due to COVID-19. Brandon Sloan and Chris Gentile started a pizza making business in their studio apartment to stay afloat and maintain a steady income. Little did they know, Pandemic Pizza was born. Pandemic Pizza is now located at RoVino The Foodery in Downtown, San Diego.

The founders of Pandemic Pizza, Brandon and Chris have found ways to use their pizzeria as a way to give back to the local community.

$1 from every pizza sold will be donated to a local charity at the end of each week to help with Coronavirus relief efforts. On top of that, all military, first responders, essential workers and those who reside in Downtown, San Diego will receive a 10% discount off of their order.

Pandemic Pizza may have been built in the midst of a tragedy but through it, the two best friends Brandon Sloan and Chris Gentile found hope.

Pandemic Pizza is open everyday from 11am-9pm and is available on delivery services as well.
