Papadopoulos released from federal prison after 2 week sentence
SAN DIEGO (KUSI)- Former Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos is out of federal prison after serving a two week sentence for lying to investigators about his contacts with people tied to Russia during the 2016 election campaign.
He was released from the federal correctional institution in Oxford, Wisconsin Friday just after 10 a.m.
Papadopoulos will now have 12 months of supervised release.
He must serve 200 hours of community service and pay $9,500 fine.
