PARADISE HILLS: Carjacking ends in crash

(CNS) – A vehicle allegedly stolen at gunpoint from a Paradise
Hills garage was later found abandoned and overturned on a nearby freeway off-
ramp, a police officer said.

Two men working in a garage in the 5500 block of Potomac Street near
Rachael Avenue were approached by three men in hooded sweatshirts, who
threatened them with a handgun, at about 9:45 p.m. Saturday, San Diego police
Officer David Stafford said.

The suspects took one of the victims' keys and drove off in his 1998
Chevy, Stafford said.

Stafford said California Highway Patrol officers found the vehicle
unoccupied and overturned on the off-ramp from Interstate 805 to 43rd Street.
