Paraglider rescued after getting suck on Blacks Beach cliffs
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A paraglider who somehow became stuck on the cliffs above Black’s Beach Sunday was rescued and taken to a hospital.
The glider was reported as down near the terminus of Torrey Pines Scenic Drive shortly before 3 p.m., according to lifeguards and the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
The paraglider was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, a fire dispatcher said. The extent of the paraglider’s injuries was not immediately released.
