Passover begins Wednesday evening

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The Jewish holiday of Passover begins on Wednesday evening and will last through April 13.

Passover commemorates the anniversary of the Jewish Exodus from Egyptian slavery, as told in the Bible.

Rabbi Devorah Marcus, Senior Rabbi at Temple Emanu-el, joined KUSI’s Hunter Sowards to discuss the importance of the religious holiday.
