Paul Rudy goes 1 on 1 with Dwight Freeney
NFL Great Dwight Freeney was our in-studio guest on KUSI’s 5 pm newscast. The 7 time Pro Bowler sat down for a wide ranging conversation that started with his $20 million dollar lawsuit against Bank of America. “When the protectors have the key that’s a problem” said Freeney who feels he was targeted by former Bank of America employees who “did things they weren’t suppose to do with my money.” The lawsuit dates back to Freeney’s playing days in Indianapolis. Bank of America admits to wrongdoing with the dispute being over the amount of restitution.
Freeney also discusses the button topics weighing on the minds of all Chargers fans. Will Philip Rivers be traded? Is Eric Weddle truly disgruntled? And will the team move to Los Angeles.
Freeney also address comments made by Former San Diego Charger and current University of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh. Appearing on HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, Harbaugh is quoted as saying, “ I love football. Love it. Love it. I like it’s the last bastion of hope for toughness in America in men in males.” Freeney disagrees. “What about rugby? What about MMA?”
