Pedestrian dies after being struck by car in El Cajon
EL CAJON (CNS) – A pedestrian died Thursday night after being hit by at least one vehicle on an El Cajon street.
The traffic fatality occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Avocado Avenue, near Washington Avenue, according to police.
Witnesses told investigators it appeared that a second vehicle hit the victim following the initial impact, News 8 reported.
The street was blocked off in the area as officers investigated.
