Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle in Scripps Ranch

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) Monday 9:23 a.m. – A man who was fatally struck by a car while walking his dog in the Scripps Ranch neighborhood was publicly identified Monday as a 49- year-old San Diego man.

Stephen Todd Fisk and his dog were not in a crosswalk when they were hit by an eastbound vehicle on Spring Canyon Road near Sunset Ridge Drive around 8:45 p.m. Friday, according to San Diego police and the county Medical Examiner’s Office.

Fisk and his dog were both killed.

Saturday 10:26 a.m. – A pedestrian was struck by a car and killed Friday while walking his dog in Scripps Ranch. 

According to San Diego Police Sgt. David Jennings, the 49-year-old victim was struck while crossing the 1100 block of Spring Canyon Road at 8:45 p.m. Friday evening. 

The 52-year-old driver of the vehicle, a 2014 Audi, remained at the scene.
