Pedestrian struck and killed in Midway District

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – An unidentified male pedestrian was fatally struck by a car as he was crossing a street mid-block in the Midway District.

The man was crossing Camino Del Rio West mid-block near Moore Street when he was struck by the vehicle at 5:38 p.m. Thursday night, according to Robert Heins of the San Diego Police Department.

The driver remained at the scene for questioning.
