Pedestrian struck in Lincoln Park hospitalized
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the Lincoln Park neighborhood Tuesday morning was hospitalized for treatment of a head injury, authorities said.
The woman was hit in the 5000 block of westbound Logan Avenue near South Euclid Avenue around 7:40 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Joshua Hodge. The driver stopped after the crash and remained at the scene. The victim was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital. The severity of the injury was not immediately known, Hodge said.
Officers closed westbound Logan Avenue at South Euclid Avenue while their investigation was underway, but the road was later reopened, police said.
