Pedestrian struck, killed by train in Bay Park Area
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A train fatally struck a pedestrian Thursday morning in the Bay Park area, authorities said.
The collision was reported at 1:15 a.m. near the intersection of Morena Boulevard and Asher Street, San Diego County Sheriff’s Lt. Cliff Rinder said.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, Rinder said.
No details about the victim were available.
The circumstances leading up to the crash were under investigation.
