Peoples Alliance for Justice aims to help homeless foster youth

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – In the U.S., 20 percent of foster kids become homeless as soon as they turn 18.

Local non-profit Peoples Alliance for Justice aims to prevent that from happening by offering foster youth apprenticeship opportunities in construction and other trade industries.

However, they are in need of more resources from the County. Shane Harris from the Peoples Alliance for Justice was in studio to discuss.
