Person died after striking a tree Saturday in Ramona

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) –  A person died Saturday after striking a tree with their pickup truck in Ramona.
   

The accident occurred at 12:15 a.m. in the 1200 block of Barnett Road., according to the California Highway Patrol online incident log.

   

According to the log, the driver was trapped the Ford F150, for about 40 minutes.
