Plenty of sunshine opens the week for San Diego

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — It is expected to be mostly sunny across San Diego County Monday, but morning fog and clouds will keep temperatures cool.

Morning fog extending inland will clear by mid-morning Monday leaving behind plenty of sunshine. The mountain areas will experience some gusty winds ranging in the 15 to 25 miles per hour range with some gusts reaching 35 miles per hour. Other places around the county will be hit by weaker winds.

Monday’s high temperatures are expected to be 72 to 77 degrees at the beaches and in the western valleys, 68 to 73 near the foothills, 64 to 69 in the mountains and around 83 in the deserts.
