PREVIEW: The Point Loma Pointers (6-3) will take on the La Jolla Vikings (3-6) at University City High School. The Pointers will be looking to finish the regular season with a four game winning streak, while the Vikings are looking not to end the season on a losing streak.

The Pointers were able to shut out the undefeated Buccaneers last week in a lopsided matchup with the final score being 41-0.  Point Loma will be looking for another stellar performance from running back Jaylen Griffin who scored a 14 yard, 62 yard, and a 71 yard TD run in the first half.  They will also be looking forward to having their stout defense step up again this week.

As for the Vikings they must not give up leads late in the game. During much of last weeks game versus Scripps Ranch, La Jolla was leading until it all fell apart. Viking quarterback Cole Dimich will have to play better this week and not turn over the ball if he wants to lead his team to victory.

Do not forget to come out to University City High School this Friday night, game time set for 6:00PM. And do not forget to catch the highlights of this game on the Prep Pigskin Report on Friday night at 10:30PM.
