Police are looking for an attempted bank robber

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Police were looking for a man who attempted to rob a U.S. Bank inside the Haggen store on Westview Parkway near Mira Mesa Boulevard Monday.   

The would-be robber passed a demand note to a teller shortly after 5 p.m. Monday, but left without receiving any money, San Diego police
Officer Dino Delimitros said.   

Police described the suspect as a white or Hispanic man in his 40s, unshaven and around 6 feet tall. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, torn jeans and sunglasses.
