Police arrest man believed to be involved in Linda Vista stabbing

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Officers arrested a 35-year-old man who they believe was one of eight to 10 males who stabbed another man outside a donut shop in the Linda Vista section of San Diego, police said Sunday.

The victim, a 28-year-old man, was rushed to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to a news statement from the San Diego Police Department.

About eight to 10 males attacked the victim at 7:45 p.m. Saturday outside Yum Yum Donuts, 6925 Linda Vista Road. The victim then ran into the store to get away and then ran outside, according to the news statement.

At some point during the fight, the 28-year-old man was stabbed in the chest. The 35-year-old man was taken into custody. San Diego police gang detectives were investigating the attack.

There was no other immediate information.
