Police ask for public’s help in locating homicide victim’s vehicle

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – San Diego Police Officers responded to a radio call Friday of an unconscious male lying in a dirt area in the 1100 block of Evelyn Street.

Kirk David Sampson, 47,  was found suffering from gunshot wound(s) to his upper torso.

Medical intervention by officers and medics were unsuccessful and Sampson was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The victim’s vehicle has not been found and police are asking for help in locating it.

The vehicle is a 1997 white Toyota 4Runner SR5 sport utility vehicle with California license plate 7LOE533. The vehicle might have extensive front end damage.
