Police ask for witnesses in Fallbrook gang fight

FALLBROOK (CNS) – Witnesses to a weekend gang fight that marred a
carnival at Fallbrook High School were urged to contact authorities Monday.

At least one person was stabbed and another arrested in connection with
the fight, which broke out at 2400 S. Stage Coach Lane around 9 p.m. Saturday
and involved 15-20 people, according to San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. David
Pocklington. The stabbing victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to be
OK, he said.

The person in custody was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly
weapon and for participating in a criminal street gang, he said.

“The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are possible,”
Pocklington said.
