Police chase ends in Mission Valley

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A domestic disturbance suspect in his early 20s led law enforcement on a chase from Interstate 5 in Anaheim to the Jacob Dekema (805) Freeway in Mission Valley, where a nearly two-hour standoff ended in his arrest, authorities said.

The pursuit began around 12:40 a.m. and came to a halt on the southbound lanes of the 805, near Interstate 8, around 1:45 a.m., according to authorities, who said the suspect surrendered around 3:30 a.m.

Anaheim police handled the incident, a CHP dispatcher said.
