Driver arrested for auto theft, burglary, hit-and-run and evading police
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A driver and passenger were taken into police custody Monday after a pursuit down the I-15.
According to San Diego police, the pursuit started around 5:10 p.m. at Carrol Canyon Rd.
The female driver had been involved in a domestic violence dispute Sunday and had allegedly stolen her ex’s vehicle.
The vehicle was then spotted Monday after the driver was involved in a hit-and-run accident.
The chase ended on the southbound I-163.
The driver eventually pulled over and surrendered to the police.
