Police cruiser involved in a two-vehicle crash

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A San Diego police cruiser was involved Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash that left a motorist with minor injuries, authorities reported.

The squad car collided with a 2000 Cadillac at College Avenue and El Cajon Boulevard shortly after noon, SDPD public-affairs Lt. Kevin Mayer said.

The involved officer reported no injuries. The other driver — the subject of two outstanding felony arrest warrants — was taken to a hospital for treatment of superficial trauma.

It was not immediately clear who was at fault for the crash.
