Police investigate Palm City shooting that left one man dead

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The shooting death of a 25-year-old man that also left another 22-year-old with serious injuries was under investigation by police Friday.

The shooting occurred in the area of Gould Lane and Desty Street just before 11 p.m. Thursday night, when an unidentified gunmen approached one of the victims. An argument ensued, and as the second victim approached the arguing duo, the suspect opened fire on the two men.

Both men were taken to UC San Diego Medical Center with serious gunshot wounds. The 25-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival, while the 22-year-old man was listed in stable condition.

The shooter, who fled the scene immediately after the incident, was described as a man in his mid 20s, wearing a blue shirt and blue pants.
