Police investigating suspicious baby death
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Homicide detectives Friday investigated the suspicious
death of a 9-month-old boy who sustained a fatal head injury at his home in
Officers were called to Rady Children's Hospital around 7 p.m. Thursday
after the boy was taken there, according to San Diego police Lt. Mike Hastings.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital of blunt force trauma to his head, the
lieutenant said in a statement.
Detectives were interviewing witnesses and examining evidence in the
home to determine how the boy was injured, Hastings said.
