Police investigating suspicious death in Linda Vista

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – The suspicious death of a man who was found suffering
from blunt force trauma on a Linda Vista street early Wednesday was under
investigation by homicide detectives, police said.

The man was found in the middle of the 2600 block of Ulric Street near
Zane Court around 12:30 a.m., according to San Diego police Lt. Mike Hastings.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

“There were very few details of how the male became injured and
homicide detectives were called to conduct an inquiry into this matter,”
Hastings said in a statement. “Interviews and evidence collection are taking
place … an autopsy will be performed later in the week where it is hoped
additional details will be learned.”

Police withheld the man's name pending notification of his next of kin.
