Police looking for gunman in Escondido

ESCONDIDO (CNS) – Police were on the lookout Sunday for the gunman who shot a 25-year-old man sitting inside a vehicle parked along an Escondido roadway.

The suspect walked up to the parked vehicle in the vicinity of 11th.Avenue and Redwood Street at around 5 p.m. on Saturday and opened fire on the victim, identified by police as Nestor Bulle of Escondido, according to an Escondido police statement.

Police said there was no description of the shooter. He fled in an older blue or purple sedan, according to police.

Bulle was hospitalized in serious condition, according to the statement.
